Community Presbyterian Women (CPW)
The Community Presbyterian Women (CPW) of the church gather monthly for Bible study and fellowship from September through May. In addition to the Bible study the Community Presbyterian Women enjoy great fellowship and service together throughout the year.
The 2010-2011 Bible Study is Journeys Through Revelation Apocalyptic Hope for Today by Barbara R. Rossing. Pastor John is leading this study. The Martha Circle meets on the second Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the conference room. The Merry Circle meets on the fourth Monday at 7:00 pm in the conference room.
Two major service projects are the rummage sales, the first weekends in May and October, which raise funds primarily for local and international mission causes. Mission giving for 2010 includes:

CPW provides blankets, caps and gowns for babies in Kenya. In 2010 a total of 125 items were supplied to babies. Instructions to crochet or knit baby caps are available here.

CPW collects labels and box tops for education for Goodland Academy in Hugo, OK. Bring your labels and box tops to the church and leave them in the can in the kitchen. Check the labels for education and box tops for education websites for a complete list of labels accepted.
A luncheon for all women of the church is organized in December. New officers for the coming year are installed at the luncheon. Good food and fellowship are enjoyed by all.
